History

When I founded Le Quattro Stagioni – 1997 – I already had years of international experience in the world of catering and high-end hotels, in which I had started taking my first steps since the 1980s, and then arrive in Saluzzo with the wish to bring what was learned at the level of management and international hospitality, in a territory that still looked to the past, but with huge potential.

Already at the time I had no doubts: on the table you have to bring the best of Italy and Piedmont, a traditional cuisine based, today as then, on the quality of the raw material, regional excellence and flawless service, accompanying customers through the four seasons.

With particular attention to “other” dietary needs: dietary, health or culture. Therefore the Four Seasons were born, anticipated philosophies that would become the order of the day twenty years later: the km0, the seasonality of products, gluten free, than an open and inclusive cuisine with respect to the traditions of other population.

Today that Le Quattro Stagioni have been enriched by the experience of my wife Roberta, ”Piedmontese doc” and hostess refined and extremely concrete, our offer is more than ever connected to the territory, with respect to which we carry out a research and a continuous rediscovery.

The result? 25 years of quality and simplicity, improved by the best preparation techniques, are and remain our number. Dishes that describe the story of Piedmont and its producers, its traditions and its past, while Saluzzo opens to an international vocation which we intend to contribute with our philosophy of hospitality.

Piero Sassone

I am the founder and manager of Le Quattro Stagioni, but in my long experience I have covered practically all the roles that characterize the world of hospitality: a wealth of knowledge gained in the field, that today allows me to enhance and grow every single resource I choose for my restaurant.

In any case I started from the basics: hotel school, the oldest in Calabria, in Castrovillari. Immersion in the potential of Mediterranean cuisine and then many experiences at an international level in the big hotels in Switzerland, France and Germany, before arriving in Piedmont, initially in Asti and then in Saluzzo. Here in the 90s I created a series of places that at the time were missing in the scenery of the territory: bistro, bar-pastry, cafes. A vocation that I will not fail to resume in recent years, but only after founding The Four Seasons, and after contributing to the birth of the Hotel Relais Poggio Radicati and the Resort San Giovanni.

In 2016, together with my children, I decided to create a new concept. Thus was born the brand Arro Coffee, which brings in the most refined districts of the English capital the triptych of Italian pleasure: coffee, chocolate and panettone.

Last but not least, my family and I have acquired the shares of the historic international school of cooking for foreigners ICIFItalian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, confirming the centrality assigned to training in our corporate vision.

In current years I have been involved in the operation of the main universal Expo, experience thanks to which I have acquired new skills and knowledge, which today merge into the management of the activities of the Casa Sassone.

Roberta ARRO’

You are born a hostess, you do not become. This is why it was natural for my wife Roberta, at some point in her life, to bring her talent and her liking within Le Quattro Stagioni. From perfect life partner and mother, Roberta has become the face and soul of Casa Sassone bringing in the restaurant a commitment to the work, but also a great sensibility and refinement.

After all, even before, our restaurant has been the place to converge the beauty and suggestions collected in every trip, exhibition, corner of the world: experiences, objects, pieces of design that we wanted to revive and share with our guests. But only the operative entrance of Roberta made Le Quattro Stagioni “Casa Sassone”, a place where reigns a welcome made of colors, sensations and scents, starting from the window and entrance. Its jewels, but also the first place of the restaurant where our guests stop to look and enjoy the atmosphere, prelude to a 360-degree wellness experience, in which to live luxury in its most democratic and accessible.

This is why we chose Casa Sassone 2050 expression: a symbolic date, common to the policies of the great world players, in which words have become facts and in which there is always chance for positivity and the future.

Future
